Frame Screenshot → Clipboard · Effective date: 2026-08-02

Frame Screenshot → Clipboard copies the current frame of an HTML5 video to your clipboard as a PNG.

Data collection

We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal or browsing data.

How captures work

Only after you invoke the extension — by clicking the camera button on a video, pressing your page shortcut, or clicking the toolbar icon — the extension reads the current frame of that video and draws it into an image. All processing happens locally in your browser.

If the site prevents a direct read of the frame, the extension either reloads the same media file on its own to obtain a readable frame, or asks the browser for a picture of the visible tab area and crops it to the video's rectangle. In that case, any part of the page that would appear over the video is hidden for the moment of the capture and restored immediately afterwards.

The resulting image is written to your system clipboard and is not retained by the extension afterwards. Nothing is downloaded or saved to disk.
